7th Meeting of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Council (PCIDC)

We joined the 7th Meeting of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Council (PCIDC). A historic milestone as this is the first time since the passage of Republic Act No. 11904, or the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (PCIDA) that the Council is now in full composition.

It was a strong alignment between government and industry leaders to accelerate the growth of the Philippine creative economy through sharper policy direction, strategic investments, and global benchmarking.

As Chair of the House Special Committee on Creative Industries, I presented our legislative roadmap anchored on strengthening institutions, advancing key reforms for the film and creative sectors, closing investment gaps, and positioning the Philippines as a globally competitive creative powerhouse.
