‘The Work Ahead Is Big, but So Is Our Resolve,’ Rep. Javi on DA-NIR Meeting

Javier Miguel Benitez convened with the Department of Agriculture - Negros Island Region (DA-NIR) for a strategic coordination meeting at the Nature’s Village Resort, Talisay City, July 1. DA-NIR Regional Director Engr. Jose Albert Barrogo and the full Regional Management Committee presented the Third District’s agricultural portfolio and discussed key updates from the recently established DA-Negros Island Region. “This is just the beginning,” Cong. Javi wrote in his social media post. “The work ahead is big, but so is our resolve,” he added. The meeting focused on aligning policy direction with macroeconomic strategies and long-term development goals for the region. Furthermore, it exemplified the Cong. Javi’s commitment to prioritizing agricultural development as the cornerstone of his legislative agenda.
