Silay Shooting Incident and Road Accident Victims Receive Financial Assistance

Third District Representative Javier Miguel Benitez extended financial aid to the victims of the shooting incident in Barangay Mambulac and the road accident in Barangay Guimbala-on, both in Silay City, last July 9. Two victims of the said shooting incident that took place on May 12 received a total amount of assistance worth Php 234,503.65. Moreover, five victims of the road accident last June 27 were given Php 295,792.20 to cover their medical and recuperation expenses. “We extend our sincerest condolences to the families of those we lost in these tragic events, and we pray for the swift recovery of all survivors,” Rep. Javi said on his social media post. *
