'Powering the Future': Rep. Javi Joins NEA’s 56th Anniversary

Third District Representative Javier Miguel Benitez joined the celebration of the National Electrification Administration’s (NEA) 56th Founding Anniversary held in Bacolod City, August 7. The event, led by NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda and Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Sharon Garin, carried the theme “Powering the Future.” It highlighted the agency’s contributions to rural electrification and its continuing efforts to expand energy access across the country. Rep. Javi underscored NEA’s “pivotal role in shaping a more inclusive and progressive Philippines,” adding that efforts to advance energy security and rural electrification are not just about “powering homes but also empowering the lives of every Filipino.” He also congratulated NEA on its milestone, expressing optimism for “a brighter future ahead” as the agency continues its mandate to serve Filipinos nationwide. *
